Ok it´s time to recapitulate a little bit. Johnossi played a few shows since we were last time here.

Johnossi playing 18 Karat Gold at Dockville festival in Hamburg, as a first August concert.

Oh what a beautiful sight

Ossi catched again with guys from Mando Diao. This time on DTM racing event in Munich that was held yesterday. Mando Diao played there just a few songs AND Ossi was The drummer.

Dva nové koncerty byly přidány do sekce Tour. Oba v Německu. Jeden v rámci festivalu AREA 4 - 21. Srpna a druhý v Kostnici na festivalu ROCK AM SEE - 27. Srpna 2011.

Proč jen Johnossi, proč jen jste stejní jako ti ostatní a hrajete jen v Německu?

At the end of the old mountain road

Even though Johnossi didn´t play at Peace & Love festival in Sweden (why?) one can have Johnossi experience easily. And because it´s not a good Swedish trip without Johnossi we bought Johnossi first album (Scandinavian Bonus Track Version) right at the famous Skivbutik in Borlänge. (Ok now only Mando Diao or Sugarplum Fairy fans can understand.) And met/saw Ossi as an audience on one VERY special P&L concert. What a Borlänge!

Festival reminder. Johnossi will play at Hultsfred festival at Sweden  - 15. July at Blue stage. Be there if you can. I´d like to be there, trust me. I miss Johnossi SO much.

Things are quite unreal to me now

Johnossi odehráli během posledních 4 dnů tři koncerty. První z nich v Göteborgu 8. června.  

Johnossi have played three shows recently. As you can see in our Tour section:) The first one was held in Göteborg. Here comes the setlist and a video from the concert. 

(I hate you Mr. Engelbert. Why didn´t you do that in Gröna Lund? It´s like a curse. Not being on the right place in the right time.)

Druhý koncert se odehrál v Berlíně. Tady John a Ossi zahráli jen sedm písní jakožto předskokani německé skupiny Beatstakes. (předskokan zní vážně hrozně...)

The other one took place in Berlin, on 10. 6. as a supporting act of the german band Beatstakes (even I think that it should be the other way around...).

 

Just a short part of Dead End...

A nakonec poslední koncert proběhl opět v Německu, na open air festivalu v Passau. Více ke vzhlédnutí:)

In my mind it´s all different anyhow

Vlastně to byla náhoda. Jenomže náhody neexistují. A málokdy se dějí ve čtyři hodiny ráno na rozespalé Stockholmské ulici. Každopádně tohle se skutečně stalo. Náhoda, osud...jedno z těch znamení, které jsme neminuli. Proto jsme si toho plakátu s nápisem Johnossi všimli.

Pátek 13. května. Stockholm. Švédsko. A my.

Spěcháme na ranní autobus po několikahodinnovém čekání na zpožděné letadlo a po hrůzu nahánějícím letu. Jsme tady, abychom viděli koncert Sugarplum Fairy v klubu Debasser. Speciální a jediný koncert tohoto léta. A najednou se na nás dívá ten plakát Johnossi, jakoby nic. Jakoby snad na sobě neměl napasané dnešní datum. Jakoby se nekonal přímo tady. A dnes.  

Teprve v tu chvíli mi dochází, že vím o koncertě Johnossi na Gröna Lundu a že ani trochu nechápu jak mi mohlo ujít datum. Možná proto, že bylo nemožné dostat se na tenhle koncert, moje podvědomí se ho rozhodlo ignorovat. Jen díky tomu se Gröna Lundský koncert mohl proměnit v tuhle souhru okolností. V jedno dechvyrážející zjištění nalepené na zeď Stockholmského domu.

Tak jsme se dostali na koncert Johnossi.

Zábavní park Gröna Lund otevírá ve tři hodiny odpoledne. Snadno se k němu dostanete lodí ze Slussenu jedoucí směrem na Djurgården. Na palubě lodi fouká studený vítr a schyluje se na déšť. Čas zabíjíme ve Vasově muzeu a nevěříme, že by se nám opravdu mohlo podařit koupit si lístek na Johnossi koncert jen několik hodin před jeho začátkem. 

Na většinu koncertů se člověk chystá několik měsíců, aby potom několik hodin čekal v zimě nebo úporném vedru na místě činu, jen aby potom mohl stát v první řadě. 

Tenhle koncert jsme neplánovali ani trochu. Ještě hodinu před začátkem jsme obědvali v kýčovitém Švédském domečku na Stockholmském předměstí. A stejně jsme zažili něco nezapomenutelného. Doslova.

Zdá se, že celý Stockholm jede na Gröna Lund, tramvaj je plná mladých lidí, ale my se přesto stavíme do první řady. I když na kraji, rozhodně si nestěžujeme. Pod obrovským nápisem Johnossi, stojíme a čekáme, aniž bychom před pár hodinami měli tušení, že je ještě dnes uvidíme.

Surrealistický pátek třináctého.

Celý koncert trval hodinu a půl. Nechyběly skladby jako No Last Call, Roscoe, What´s the point, Sickness, Maverics, Bobby, There´s a lot of thing to do before you die, Deat End....a Summerbreeze...♥

Celý koncert byl dokonalý. Johnossi, Děkuju. 

It was actually a coincidence. But there´s no coincidence in the world. Especially not at four a.m. at a sleepy Stockholm street. Anyway this did happen. A coincidence, a fate… one of those signs we didn´t miss. That´s why we did notice the poster with Johnossi written on it.

Friday, 13th May. Stockholm. Sweden. And us. 

We hurry for a morning bus after several hours of waiting for a delayed plane and after a terrifying flight. We´re here to see a Sugarplum Fairy concert in the Debasser club. Special and unique concert of this summer. And suddenly the Johnossi poster is watching us, as if it was normal. As if there wasn´t today´s date on it. As if it didn´t take place right here. And today.

At that moment I realize I´ve known about the Johnossi concert at Gröna Lund and that I have no idea how I could have missed the date. Maybe because it was impossible to get to this concert, my subconsciousness decided to ignore it.  That´s the only way how Gröna Lund concert could have turned into this serie of accidental circumstances.  To one breathtaking discovery glued-on to a wall of a Stockholm house. 

That´s how we got to a Johnossi koncert.

Gröna Lund fun fair opens at 3 p.m. You can easily get there by boat parting from Slussen going towards Djurgården. On the board a wind is blowing and it looks it´s going to rain. We´re killing time in Vasa museum and we can´t believe that we really could buy a ticket for the Johnossi concert just few hours before its beginning.

To most concerts you prepare for months to wait several  hours in cold or scorching weather at the venue to achieve the front row place. 

We didn´t plan this concert at all. Just one hour before the beginning we were having lunch in a fairy-tale-Swedish house in Stockholm suburbs. And we experienced something unforgettable anyway. Literally.

It seems all Stockholm is heading towards Gröna Lund, the tram is full of young people and in spite of that we get to the front row. Though it´s at a side, we don´t complain at all. We´re standing under a huge Johnossi inscription, waiting, despite not having an idea about seeing them today just a couple of hours before.

A surrealistic Friday the 13th.

The concert took an hour an half. We heard No Last Call, Roscoe, What´s the point, Sickness, Maverics, Bobby, There´s a lot of thing to do before you die, Dead End....and Summerbreeze...♥
